How Can We Help?

New Tabernacle at Budd Creek - The fund raising efforts for a new Tabernacle at Budd Creek are well underway. Lakeside church would like to raise at least $10,000.00 during the next year for this project. Several fund raising efforts are already underway: The change jar in our vestibule has already raised $252.00 and the rent a kid project is ongoing. (Our young people may be "rented" by our church members for chores at a rate of $10.00 per hour.) All the proceeds go into the Tabernacle Fund.

Another effort that is underway is for raising tabernacle funds is for parents, grandparents or others interested adults to give a monthly offering. A monthly offering of $25.00 amounts to $300 in twelve months. If 30 families did this, it would raise $9,000.00 by itself! Everything should go through the church. Your checks may be made out to Lakeside and designated on the memo line that it is for the Budd Creek Tabernacle Fund. Your gifts are important but please don’t forget to pray. Pray that God will bless the efforts of all the churches that are helping with this and always pray for Budd Creek for the salvation of souls.

Ladies Auxiliary Cook Books

Advance sales for the Ladies Auxiliary cook books are being accepted. The books will be $12.00 each. You will find coupons on the vestibule table. Money for the cookbooks may be turned in to Sister Faye or Sister Brenda.

Sunday Morning I Cor. 16:13-24 27th in series

The first letter to the church at Corinth ends with an exhortation to dedication. There are five general commands given in these closing verses. They are then encouraged to support the ministry of Stephanas, who is most likely the pastor. The final admonition is to serve God out of love, which is coupled with a warning against those who have other motives.
