Pulpit to the Pew

I had some problems with telephone service last week. It is a little frustrating not to be able to reach someone because the communication system is not working properly. Thank God, this can never happen with prayer. God is always available. We never get an intercept recording that tells us the number is no longer in service. A lost man can pray the sinner’s prayer from anywhere, at any time and be saved right then and there. The prayers of the saints are heard from every location around the globe at the same time, yet, the network is never too busy. You can talk to God in prayer anytime. He has a great communication system.

Brother Joe Hellums - Our missionary at New Liberty Baptist Mission in Beebe will be with us during the evening services today. Brother Hellums will give us an update on the work in Beebe. He will also report on progress for getting the Lambert family here for the ABA meeting.

Men’s Fellowship - The Lakeside Men’s Fellowship will meet on Monday night, March 30th. All of the men are invited to take part. There will be a pot luck meal to begin the meeting at 7:00 PM.
